Privacy policy

InkSonics® is a brand of American Architectural Products Group (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information inksonics.com collects, why, and the choices you have.

Who we are

American Architectural Products Group, 248 James Street, Venice, FL 34285, United States. Questions about this policy or your information: samples@inksonics.com or 844-307-9571.

Sample requests

When you request samples, the form asks for your name, firm, email, phone, project name, shipping address and any notes. When you press “Send request”, these details and the samples you chose are sent from our server through Postmark (ActiveCampaign, LLC), our email delivery provider, to our sample room at samples@inksonics.com, and a copy is emailed to the address you entered. To prevent abuse, our server briefly keeps a one-way (hashed) record of your connection’s address and of the email address, for up to 24 hours. If sending fails, the form instead prepares the request for you to email yourself.

To save you retyping, your contact details and sample list are kept in your browser’s local storage on your own device. They stay there until you clear this site’s data in your browser settings. We cannot see them.

When you email us, we use your details to send samples, answer questions about your project and follow up on it. Our mailbox is hosted by Microsoft 365, and Postmark keeps a record of the emails it delivers for us for a limited period. We keep correspondence for as long as needed to serve your project and meet our business and legal record-keeping obligations.

Analytics and cookies

With your permission we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC, to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, how visitors arrive, and the general location and type of device. Google Analytics sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_…) and Google processes this data under its own terms and privacy policy, which may include processing in the United States.

Google Analytics loads only after you choose “Accept” in the cookie banner. If you choose “Decline”, no analytics cookies are set and nothing is sent to Google. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings, also linked at the bottom of every page. We use analytics only to measure and improve the site, not for advertising.

The site sets no other cookies. Your consent choice itself is stored in your browser’s local storage.

Server logs

Like any website, our host (GoDaddy) automatically records technical information when pages are requested, including IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These logs are used to run and secure the site.

Third-party services

When you use the tools that create PDF and Word files (design sheets, tip cards, CSI specifications), the site loads code libraries from cdnjs, a service run by Cloudflare, which receives your IP address and browser information as part of delivering those files. Fonts, images and the rest of the site are served from inksonics.com itself.

Sample-request emails are delivered by Postmark.

Links to other sites, such as the Ink-Tuitive® Studio at ink-tuitive.com, are covered by those sites’ own policies.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We share it only with the service providers named above, with companies in our group that help fulfil your request, or when required by law.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it, by emailing samples@inksonics.com. Depending on where you live (for example California, other US states, the UK or the EU) you may have further rights under local law, and we will respond as that law requires. You can also clear this site’s local storage and cookies in your browser at any time.

Children

This site is intended for design and construction professionals and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
