Ziggurat towers of stacked, narrowing tiers stand in tall vertical columns, outlined in emerald with tiers alternating between pale sage and sand. The strong vertical alignment adds apparent height to a wall. Up close the stepped profiles recall Art Deco skyscrapers; from further back they read as a rhythmic stripe, suited to a hotel corridor or lift lobby.
The made world rather than the grown one. Facade patterns come from the elevation — mullion, louvre, opening, screen. Structure from what holds it up. Skyline from the city read at a distance, in silhouette or in plan. Orthogonal where the others are organic, and the natural pairing when a project needs both.
